The Rules of Attraction

The United States Army is relaxing its restrictions on tatoos and "permanent makeup" in an effort to attract more recruits. Coincidence that they fell far short of their recruitment goal for this past year? I think not.

Read the article.

I doubt it's easy to effectively recruit when there's a war going on. Hmm. Sure it's treacherous, but I hear the benefits are astounding!

By Latitude and Longitude

Hey there, folks. I'm working a little bit on a bit of a Google Maps mashup to dust off my web building skills. Nothing major, yet, but I'll be adding points and features to this fun little website as I find the time.

To check out some points of my life geographically, go to udel.edu/~fatdog/map. It could be a funny time for you. And remember to check in on it every once and a while to see what I'm adding. Soon I'll be filling up the Branchburg history and going backwards and forwards to Fairfax Rd. and Newark, DE, respectively.

In other less important news, there's minimal changings to the resume, etc. at udel.edu/~fatdog. Hmmm where will I put all of this once school is done?

It Could've Been the Fever...

It might have something to do with my having a fever of 102, but I think it's just that this is one of the best little stories in a long while. Watch the videos on this news article with sound if you can:

I was tearing up, I swear.
